I know there is no in between with Birkenstocks, you either love them or you hate them! Well, add me to the love side. I’ve purchased “Birkenstock-like” sandals from other designers like Steve Madden but have never actually purchased real Birkenstocks (Birks for short).
I snagged these at Nordstrom a couple of weeks ago and they have been my go-to for casual wear. Best part- they were ONLY $34.95! They were on the cheaper end than normal Birkenstocks because they’re rubber rather than suede which tend to run over $100.
I picked these up in-store and they had them in white and pink. I may be going back for the pink ones soon. For that price, why not? On the Nordstrom website I only see they have the navy blue ones. Other retailers like Urban Outfitters do have the white ones and the Birkenstock website has a variety of different colors including neon pink.
My only con on these are they do make a “farting” noise (I KNOW) as you’re walking. Not all of the time, but sometimes. I did research this and a lot of people are experiencing the same thing. I tried to put baby powder but that clearly did not help. If you have any suggestions, please share! Oh well.
I definitely do recommend getting these Eva Birkenstocks. They’re very COOL and effortless.
