Before my husband, Ephrem, and I were dating we ended up in San Diego with mutual friends during the same time. We took this fabulous picture over 13 years ago at Seaport Village in San Diego, CA. He surprised me in recreating this picture a couple of months ago right before our 7 year wedding anniversary! I must say, it was one of the best surprises of all time.
A lot has changed since 2004- we’re older, wiser (hopefully), added LBs (not a plus) and the addition of our gorgeous girl Coco. Isn’t she so photogenic, I mean COME ON!
This moment was everything. To be back at the exact place we took our photo so many years ago. We had to do a bit of walking around to find the exact location because the shop that was there before no longer was. But we found it!
We were so young then and so excited about our futures. Little did we know our future would be with one another and that life would somehow bring us back to each other. When it’s meant to be, love will always find its way.
I was rocking very casual attire. My absolute favorite jeans during the moment are these black distressed Joe Jeans. They literally have been on heavy rotating the last couple of months! Another staple piece has been my Nasty Gal sunnies. (sadly, they no longer sell these). And how cute is my crop jacket from Nordstrom Rack. Currently on sale, get it now!
