Merry Christmas from my family to yours! It really is the most wonderful time of the year. I am THAT person who wishes it was Christmas all year round! Two main rules: the Christmas tree goes up after Thanksgiving weekend (I will never understand the people who put it up before), Hallmark Christmas movies play all month long. Another tradition is our yearly Christmas cards. It’s always something I look forward to each year. The tradition started when Ephrem and I got married and have continued the tradition for the past 7 years. It’s always so much fun planning where we will take the photos and of course our outfits!
We started the Christmas photos with JcPenny Potraits and now we take them on our own since we have a professional camera and a tripod. This year we decided to incorporate the Arizonian scenery as our backdrop. We shot our Christmas photos in front of Papago Mountains. It was not the easiest thing to walk in heels on the dirt and gravel but I managed! Coco was being a complete diva on this shoot. She normally cooperates like the professional that she is (aka we bribe her with treats) however, she was just not having it this year. Everything was distracting her from the dogs that were around to the neck jingle collar she had on. But as we do every year we go the shot!
I wanted our outfits to be simple this year since the background was insane! We opted for black and white attire and of course I had to add the splash of color with my fabulous shoes! I love how Coco is just rocking the jingle bell collar, she is front and center as always.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
